About When a Loved One Passes
When a Loved One Passes is a calm, plain-language guide for families after a death. Each article answers one real question families ask, in the order they usually need the answers: the first hours, the first weeks, and the months of paperwork that follow.
How we write
- One question per article, answered in the first lines.
- Checked against official sources such as the Social Security Administration, the VA, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the FTC and state vital records offices. Each article shows the date it was last checked.
- No pressure. We never put product links in articles about the first hours after a death.
